Caitria of Blasta Mhor delivered an outstanding performance, winning her class and being awarded Reserve Champion Senior Female in a strong field of Highland cattle competitors.

Shown in partnership with Red Rock Farm, the result was a fitting reward for Caitria's presentation and performance in the ring.

The Blasta Mhor name was also recognised across multiple classes. Lady Brogarth of Blasta Mhor, exhibited by Butler Highlands, was awarded 1st Place in the Heifer 18-20 Months class and Reserve Champion Junior Female, while Dutchess Dustee of Blasta Mhor, exhibited by Isla Butler, secured 2nd Place in the same class. Together, Lady Brogarth and Dutchess Dustee also won 1st Place in the Pair of Heifers Under 20 Months class.

Behind every animal presented in the ring is a great deal of preparation, and we extend our thanks to Tanika and Ben Butler of Red Rock Farm, whose commitment and hard work ensured the cattle were presented to a high standard.

Reflecting on the results, Paul Reese, Director of Blasta Mhor Highland Cattle, said:

"We're delighted to see Caitria recognised at the Melbourne Royal Show. It was a pleasing result and recognition of her performance in a strong field.

"Results aside, it was great to see such a strong turnout and quality of competition across the Highland classes. Credit must go to Tanika, Ben and the team at Red Rock Farm for the work they've put in behind the scenes and at the show.”

The Melbourne Royal Show once again highlighted the strength of Highland cattle breeding across Australia and provided a valuable opportunity to see some of the country's leading animals competing alongside one another. Congratulations to all exhibitors and organisers on a successful event.
