The 2026 Victorian Highland Breeders Group State Show, held in conjunction with the Bendigo Agricultural Show, was another pleasing outing for Caitria of Blasta Mhor, who was awarded Reserve Champion Senior Female.

While cattle shows are only one measure of success, it was encouraging to see Caitria recognised against strong competition and continue to build on her show record.

Caitria also featured in the VAS paraders competition, where Isla Butler achieved second place leading her through the ring. Lincoln Butler was awarded first place leading Calmore of Blasta Mhor, making it an especially rewarding weekend for the wider Blasta Mhor team.

We are grateful to Tanika and Ben Butler of Red Rock Farm for their ongoing work preparing and presenting our cattle throughout the show season.

With another successful show behind us, we now look ahead to the Australian Highland Cattle Society National Show in June 2027, where we hope to exhibit Caitria once again.

Congratulations to all exhibitors and thank you to the organisers and volunteers who contributed to another successful event.
